'Votre ordinateur a été bloqué et tous vos fichiers ont été chiffrés' scam

FBI Cybercrime Division ransomware infection attacks many computers these days, not only the ones located in the USA where FBI is headquartered. In particular, France is under the serious attack of this scam. This locker was developed by cyber criminals and hackers who want to get the possession over user's funds. How do they do it? Well, by tricking users with a lot of scary accusations about various crimes users supposedly committed online. Whether you've done such crimes or not doesn't make any difference. This fake FBI Cybercrime Division warning is a virus program that has nothing to do with FBI. The locker prompts users into paying the fine, supposedly in favor of the government. Yet, this payment is a ransom that goes in favor of the crooks.
