Europol virus. How to remove European law enforcement agency ransomware

Today we will tell you about another ransomware infection that targets European countries. It is often referred to as Europol virus, or European law enforcement agency ransomware. However, this organization is a reputable agency in Europe, and it is not associated with spreading this ransomware infection. The point is that hackers use the good name of Europol as a method of scaring users. This is why they created a new ransomware program that is now actively targeting computers of users in Europe. This is a special trojan that locks the desktop (screen) of the infected computer and asks for certain amount of funds to be paid in favor of the crooks that developed this virus. Hackers instruct users to pay the amount of money to unlock the PC through Ukash or Paysafecard payment systems by means of indication of a special voucher or PIN code. Doing so is a serious mistake on user’s part. The money doesn’t go into the state budget or treasury of the state. It all goes into the pockets of the online frauds.
