Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section virus (removal guide)

The scary warning supposedly coming from Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section is a ransomware program (virus) prepared by hackers for users primarily in the United States of America. This virus completely hijacks the desktop of an infected computer and doesn’t let the user do anything with it until he/she performs the instructions of malware developers. In particulars, users are scared and prompted to affect the ransom price, and then the hijacker promises to unlock the PC once the respective amount has been paid in full. The ransomware says that the computer was blocked because of user's supposed illegal practice noticed to occur on his/her PC. In particular, users are being accused of downloading pirate copies of multimedia samples (music clips) in direct violation of the US legislation, watching sinful content online, sending massive spam, using illegal software samples, etc. The virus tells users that in order to unblock their desktop they must pay the above-mentioned amount of fine via Ukash or Paysafecard payment systems, possibly also via GreenDot MoneyPak PIN codes. The ransomware asserts that it is in direct contact with the governmental bodies on prevention of illegal activities online, however, this is a lie and simply the method to scare you even more.
