Enhanced Protection Mode is the fake message and real virus elaborated by the team of cyber criminals. At the present moment the malware developers are illegally using the well-known and decent names in PC and Internet security field. Hence, a few hours ago we noticed the following fake alert on one of our test computers:

Avast operates under enhanced protection mode.
This is a temporary measure necessary for immediate response to the threat from a virus!
